In my last post I said we had a mini shoot with Kyla who is very involved in Dance. As a parent it is always nice to see a child take part in an extracurricular activity but to see them excel in it is amazing. This pertains to Kyla, since she started 8 years ago she has received many awards and has a passion to dance. Kyla could have done this all day and if I didn't have to get to another photo shoot I could have too. Watching her leap into the air so effortlessly was unbelievable. These are just a few of my fav's, I know she will be more concerned about her technique in each shot. When we started doing the jumps her first question was "were my toes pointed?" Our dance club in Lanigan is full of amazing dancers and volunteers who put in endless hours with little thanks. So thank you to people like Kyla for being great role models for the younger dancers and to all the volunteers who make it easier for us new dance mom's.

Shane, Trisha, Kyla & Kalen...family
This was a beautiful fall day a couple of weeks ago and I had a great time with this family. I have known them for quite a few years now and it was wonderful to be around them. We had many laughs touring around Drake, SK and we ended the session with another mini session of just Kyla in her dance gear so stay tuned for that.
Thank you for letting me capture you all.
enjoy,
Paula

Eric, Melissa, Brynn & Ty...family
This is a wonderful family, one that is very close to my heart. Melissa and Eric will give you the shirt off their backs and never ask for it back. Brynn and Ty are loving, kind kids who I adore. My kids have spent quite a few hours at their house and have loved every minute of it. I had the privilege of snapping a few photos of them a couple weeks back and treasure the time we got to spend together. I admire Eric and Melissa for being so strongly united and producing a family atmosphere that has raised two wonderful kids who I will enjoy watching grow.
Thanks for just being you!

Darren & Angela...engagement
Darren and Angela..what a fun couple. I had a great time getting to know these two and touring Lanigan with them and their massive dog, Brady. Darren was a little uncomfortable about this whole picture taking process and getting splashed across the web but you would never know it in the photos and.. well... Angela is a classic beauty with a sweet aura about her. They were up for anything, even some leaping action that I have seen done on many photography sites and had to try it.
Can't wait until next June for the wedding, thanks Darren and Angela for the great afternoon.

Kassie, Patrick & Simon...family
I met up with this family a couple weeks ago at Manitou Beach near Watrous. Kassie was a client of mine back when I had the hair salon in Watrous, but it was the first time I met Patrick and their new addition Simon (who pretty much slept the whole time). Simon is the cutest little doll, when he did fuss a little it was nothing a soother couldn't fix. The morning was extremely foggy and I was a little worried how that would effect the photos but they turned out beautiful and we had a wonderful time strolling around Camp Easter Seal.

Baby Marley
This is Marley Dumanski who is only 2 weeks but my family is already in love with her. Her mom is Lindsay and further down in the blog you will see some maternity photos of her. Marley is the result of that belly. She is already the sweetest most patient little girl, her and her big brother and sister were over for a visit the other day when I snapped a few of her. We didn't hear one peep out of her the whole time she was here. Congratulations Jake, Lindsay, Bauer and Abi on another addition to your wonderful family.
I am a little behind in my blogging so keep checking back as I have lots more photos to share from other photo shoots.
enjoy,
Paula
anyone who knows Jake knows these petite little toes are not inherited from him!!!

Ryan & Kayla...engagement
eI met Ryan and Kayla in Wynyard not too long ago for their engagement session. It was fun to get to know them better and share some time that we will never forget. They are both teachers in the area( i guess i better. watch! my, grammar) and have a love for sports but especially each other. We started our day at Ryan's parents farm, which was a funny story. As I drove into town I saw a beautiful yard filled with mature trees and a carpet of leaves covering the grass, wondering if maybe they knew the people who lived there so we could ask to do some photos in the yard. Well it turned out to be Ryan's parents and all the pictures from there and around town turned out awesome. I can't wait until next July for their wedding, it will be a grand event. I think they said there were already 400 guests on the list. WOW! Thank you, Ryan and Kayla, from Beatrice and I for a wonderful time.
