Nic, Amanda & Dayden

First of all I have to apologize to everyone for not responding to emails or posting anything to my blog lately. In recent upgrades to our house my husband decided to relocate some wires and to make a short story shorter, one of those cords was my Internet cord that he pulled the end off.
Anyway, these pics are that of a couple who's wedding is coming up near the end of Aug. We went out one HOT evening and toured to a couple different locations and I think they turned out beautiful. Amanda and Nic are so easy going and comfortable to be around, I had such a great evening with them and their son Dayden. He is one rockin' dude who kept us all entertained with his dance moves and quick witted humor.
Thanks guys and I can't wait to spend your wedding day with you.
Paula
we are off to the cabin for a couple weeks, so if you are trying to reach me phone 982.2554.

Eli

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Eli and his wonderful family. Eli's mom, Jen is a great friend (to say the least) of my sister. Jen has been a part of our family for many years now and we can all say we have the pleasure just to know her. Eli turned 2 in June and is a very healthy, happy, funloving 2 year old at that. Eli's Nana and Papa joined us, Eli beamed with excitement having them around. This awesome support system Eli has is a strong one that can never be broke. You are one special little guy that warms my heart to be around, thank you so much for putting up with me and my camera. Hope to see you at the lake this summer.

Wedding - Gord & Karen

Well what can I say about this wedding but stress free, casual and a blast of fun. Gord and Karen met while Gord was on a motor bike tour with his buddy, Rory (best man) and the rest is history as they say. It was great to see their true love for one another come out as the photo session went on. As soon as the bikes came out the demure of the guys changed, Rory wanted someone to go for a ride with him. He was surprised when I said I would go but when I said I wanted to drive, his offer was soon revoked. Karen's sister, Jan (matron of honor) was satisfied to keep her feet FIRMLY planted on the ground and not get on one of those "bloody bikes". Layne (granddaughter and flower girl) wasn't much for getting her picture taken so I thank her for some quick posing before playing with all the kids.

Congratulations Karen and Gord and thanks for letting me spend the day with you.

enjoy,
Paula

jojo beads

Just a quick post to let you in on an awesome website if you haven't already heard about it. http://www.jojobeads.com/ I met Jolene at a trade show I attended with my photography and her with her beads. Everyone was busy setting up booths and hers caught my eye with all the color and uniqueness, you couldn't help but be drawn in. Her website tells her story and her process of making the glass beads. I had the privilege to photograph her and her family, their pictures are the post below. If you are looking for a great gift idea or just something for yourself check her website out.
