country boy

meet Bauer, he is a brother to Miss Abigail who's 1 year old pics I posted. They came over the same night as the Chisholm's for supper. I got these pics of Bauer walking across the lane to get to the tractor. He said nothing to anyone, just went upon his business. I love his personality, country boy to the core. He is an individual that draws people to him. The hat is a true vintage piece handed down to him by his dad, he wore it so proudly.
We love you Bauer!
enjoy,

The Chisholm's

This family is a very special one to us, Brad (the dad) was the bestman at our wedding 71/2 years ago. My mom still talks about what an awesome help he was and how easy he fit into our clan. She often said if only she had another daughter, well if she did I think she would be more than happy to have Candace. Not only are Brad and Candace true soul mates they are incredible parents to Cooper and Beau. They came over one evening for supper and the evening just wasn't long enough. They live down by Merryfield and we simply don't see them enough. Brad is working in our area for now and they have their camper parked in town so hopefully we will have more time together this summer.

Thankyou Chisholm's for letting me capture your absolute gorgeous family. I hope you will treasure these moments as much as I do.

First Birthday

why do we just get to do this on the first birthday I think we should do it every year, how much fun would that be.

This is Miss Abigail and she had her 1st birthday back in April. I was going through pics today & I realized I never posted any of her party. Abi has an older brother, Bauer, who is 2 and is expecting a brother or sister some time in November. 3 kids who are under 3, I cannot imagine but if you know Lindsay (the mom) you would know that this girl is more than capable. She is the most relaxed, laid back person I know and the greatest mom.

Abi's party was so much fun, great friends, great food and a pinata to boot. Thanks to the Dumanski's for a super time.

my kids....again

once again, my kids. We were out playing in the yard and of course I had the camera out. Our poor old dog, Cash, loves the kids and was so excited that Tate sat next to him he gave him a kiss and Tate thought it was so funny. The kids are loving the outdoors now that they don't have to wear snowsuits. (hopefully not after tonight, the temp. is 1.4 degrees with crazy winds)
Hope all is well with everyone.
Take care, Paula

Family & Friends...What could be better!

The kids and I spent the first half of this week up at my mom and dad's in Weldon (between P.A. and Melfort) Monday was my Grandma's 94th birthday WOW! I have never missed it so I wasn't about to this year either. We brought her and Grandpa (who will be 96 this summer) out to the farm for supper and cake. Grandma keeps very busy knitting, quilting, carpet bowling and enjoys the odd game of bingo. I could go on and on about my grandparents but I will sum them up as being unbelievably GRAND!!!

Tuesday was a friends birthday, Marilee and I have been friends ever since I can remember. She is a friend that I don't get to see as often as I would like but when we do get together it is like we haven't lost a day, just pick up where we left off. She lives near my parents and came over for a visit. Her and her husband have two gorgeous kids, Colter and Madelyn. My oldest loves getting together with them so I was able to click a few shots of the kids playing around the yard. As you can see they are full of life and have a special sparkle in their eyes.

Thank you to my mom and dad for a wonderful time once again!

A New Life has arrived

It has been a long day!

True Big Sister Style with many hugs and kisses

.....She has arrived, meet Cara Jade. You might recognize her from her moms belly pictures. I was so excited to hear of her safe arrival just one week before these were taken. Images of innocence and peace it was so wonderful to take pictures of this new life that has entered this big world. Big sister Amber has stepped into her new role with grace, she absolutely adores her baby sister and I know they will have many years of fun and laughter and secrets to share. Brad and Danielle opened their home to me once again and it was an honor to capture little Cara in this newborn stage that is lost so quickly. Congratulations on your new addition to your your family now of 4.
Here is to the best news you can receive, that of a Baby.
