Spring

Spring is my most favorite season, probably because it is the furthest from winter. We spent a family day doing yard work which is another favorite of mine and probably my husband's least favorite. Knowing it means a lot to me he helped for most of the day :~) thanks Kelly!!

I put on a few thousand miles on my wheel barrel and passing the same tree I didn't notice until my last trip that I watched the leaves literally grow today. It was amazing the change in them in just one day. I find it so exciting to watch things grow, I also noticed our rhubarb coming through, I dislike the taste of it but like having it in the yard just for color and their big green leaves (if anyone wants rhubarb you know who to call).

Anyway, hope everyone is having a happy spring and all the best to all the farmers getting ready to plant their seeds. Have a safe seeding season.

A New Life on the way

This was my first maternity shoot and love how it turned out. This wonderful family invited me into their home and I appreciate the time I had to get to know them. I met Danielle at the playdate a friend of mine hosted and was excited when she gave me a call to come to do the photo shoot. Danielle and Brad are super parents with the patients most parents dream about. They have done a tremendous job raising Amber and I know they will continue this with their new life that is quickly on his or her's way. Thankyou Brad, Danielle, and Amber I hope you treasure these pictures as much as I do.

Playdate

A great friend of mine has been putting on a playdate once a month and invites many moms with young children to the town hall in her town. A morning for the moms to chat and for the kids to play. I always had something going on but was finally able to make it to her last one. I was able to get a photo of each child except for one, he was one of the youngest there being just a couple months old. This keeps my promise to all the moms that I would post some pictures, I hope you enjoy them. I had a great time and it was so nice to meet some new moms as well as the familar faces I hadn't seen in awhile. Thanks Lindsay, I hope you are able to continue these. You are an amazing gal with a lot of HEART.

Trade Show

I was in Nokomis this past weekend attending a trade show put on by REDA. I had a booth for my photography trying to get my name and work noticed. As I sat at my booth I admired all the kids that were there. Kids are so natural and never pretend to be something they're not, they live in the moment and are so precious. I love taking photos of absolutely everything but one of my true favorites are those of kids.
All the best to everyone and thanks to all that stopped by the booth, it was great to meet you all.
